Physical Health and Rehabilitation
From helping people get out of bed, to adjusting a walking pattern, to helping professional circus performers, we help people to recognize and improve movement patterns in their daily life. Somatic therapy can help you regain quality of life, strength or range of motion. Whether you are recovering from a surgery, an injury, or are getting older, somatic therapy can help you to repattern your movements to be more efficient and pain free.
Mental Health
Our brains and our bodies are part of the same organism. Frequently therapy ignores the body, when the body stores trauma. Depressions, anxiety, eating disorders, and a host of other issues manifest in the body-mind. By looking at the entire person, we can begin to identify and heal from our past trauma.
Relationship Therapy
All too often, we lose intimacy in our relationships over time. Sometimes trust is broken, and sometimes we grow apart. Somatic therapy can help couples to reconnect with each other, to strengthen their bonds and to regain trust, when appropriate. We connect through the body and the mind to truly understand ourselves and each other, to redevelop the bond we once had, and hopefully, to make it even stronger.
